Elva 100 - Geoff O'nion

Geoff O’nion ELVA 100 # 66

ELVA 100 chassis # 66 was originally purchased and owned by the Dutch racing driver Rob Slotemaker who raced the car on several occasions during 1960. The car was sold on to Hugo E Studer in 1985 who raced the car from 1987 through to 1992 where after it rested until being purchased by Martin Carter in 2002. Martin and his wife Jill, both actively raced the car before reluctantly parting company with it in April 2007 to Geoff as his first historic racing car and entry into Historic Formula Junior Racing.

The car as raced by Rob Slotemaker was originally fitted with the 2 stroke DKW engine which was later replaced in 1987 with a BMC engine. The car in its current configuration is fitted with the long stroke 1098 BMC engine.
