* Registered MPH 996.
* One of 14 Lea-Francis engined sports cars built by Formula One constructor Connaught Engineering at Send, Surrey, prior to their Grand Prix and F2 cars.
* This was one of the three team cars [MPH 329, MPH 995 and MPH 996]; this being the one raced by Managing Director, Rodney Clarke at Goodwood, Blandford, and in Formula 2 races at Silverstone and Chimay, making it HGPCA eligible.
* 1951 Dundrod TT car (and it drove to, and competed in, the 2 retrospectives there in the last two decades) and featured on the front cover of the Jersey 1952 Road Race programme.
* Owned by Duncan since 1979.
* Rebuilt then by TT Workshops Ltd in Westbury, Wilts and the engine, subsequently, by Peter Lander of Sigma Engineering, Gillingham, Dorset.
* Raced by Duncan at the first Goodwood Revival and again this year, also at the Goodwood Festival of Speed ( where it came to rest in the top paddock next to the legendary Froilan Gonzales in the V 16 BRM !!) Also raced at Wiscombe Park, driven to and at Monza, Nurburgring and Spa on various RAC Euroclassics, and many road miles.
