In Newsflash 2009/18 Duncan recommended that all FJ and 500 drivers watch this video of this “absolutely unbelievable circuit” !

In reply, Nigel Ashman told us he won the 500 race the same year, 2007, driving Gary Ford’s Cooper X1 while Dick Irish drove my Kieft : 55 years after he owned it!

Nigel said its probably the best circuit he’s ever driven;

Photos show (amongst others) Dick sitting in the Kieft wearing his original helmet and overalls and the Cooper on the way to victory having lapped Kieft.
